LITTLE BOOTS
LITTLE BOOTS, a 24 year-old singer/songwriter hailing from Blackpool, England. Her performances with an electric pop sound and overflowing with creativity have grabbed the attention of the music industry. The start of it all was LITTLE BOOTS' own YouTube channel. For the past year or so, she has recorded herself playing covers for a wide variety of songs (everything from MGMT, HOP CHIP, WILEY to MILEY CYRUS, HUMAN LEAGUE, ESTELLE, and even CYNDI LAUPER) with the keyboard and digital instruments, and news of these videos spread by word-of-mouth.

What's more, the first song LITTLE BOOTS released in her own name, "Stuck on Repeat" (produced by Joe Goddard of Hop Chip), received so much popularity on YouTube, MySpace, and blogs around the world that it was even featured on the BBC's "Later" with Jools Holland, despite LITTLE BOOTS not even having made her official debut. Perhaps partly because of this, LITTLE BOOTS went on to be ranked as the #1 artist on the "BBC SOUND of 2009" top 10 list, a list of the hottest artists to watch out for in the upcoming year.

But the BBC isn't the only place LITTLE BOOTS has received publicity, she's also been featured in music-related meida such as NME, GUARDIAN, DAILY TELEGRAPH, etc. and even mainstream newspapers, magazines and tabloids, making her one of the most watched new artists of 2009. Even with just the accomplishments listed here, anticipation for LITTLE BOOTS is already very high in the music scene. Her platinum blond look is also very cute! With her favorite made-in-Japan instrument, the tenolion, in hand, the diva of electronic pop will make her first appearance in Japan at SUMMER SONIC this summer! LITTLE BOOTS' debut album is scheduled to go on sale summer 2009!
